Our Cacao Butter is 100% Raw, organic and processed with the utmost commitment to purity.  Never any chemical solvents used to extract the butter.   Arriba nacional  Cacao Nibs, the finest variety, from Ecuador, are high-pressure pressed, separating the Cacao Butter (oil) from the fiber (which is transformed into raw cacao powder). During the entire process, the temperature is between 120 -140 degrees. The result is a raw, organic, creamy butter with a delicate and rich chocolate flavor.

Easy to Use:
Our Cacao Butter is sold in a 1 lb bag filled with many individual varied-in-size chunks of butter.  This makes it so easy to use.  Simply pick out the size chunk you wish to use and melt. Most Cacao Butter is sold as a block.  This is difficult to use as you must melt the whole block to make usable the desired portion and find a new container for the unused portion. 

Cacao butter remains solid below 90 degrees F.

Suggested Uses:
  • Make Raw Chocolate: Melt Cacao Butter in double boiler. Mix with Cacao Powder. Ratio of Cacao Butter to Cacao Powder is 1/2:1.  Add superfoods of your choice.  Try some of our favoriets: Jarrah Bee Pollen, Dried Superfruits,  Yacon Syrup, Hemp Seeds, Maca and more. Pour into molds and refrigerate.
